Summary: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically proficient Test Position professional to join our dynamic team in ensuring the highest quality standards across our software products. This role is critical in identifying, documenting, and resolving defects early in the development lifecycle, thereby enhancing product reliability, performance, and user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, leveraging both manual and automated testing methodologies to validate functionality, usability, and security across diverse platforms and environments. With a strong commitment to quality assurance best practices, this individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including development, product management, and operations—to drive continuous improvement and ensure timely delivery of robust, scalable solutions. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements. Execute manual and automated test cases across web, mobile, and API-based applications to validate system behavior and performance. Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools; ensure timely resolution and retesting. Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and assess testability during the design and development phases. Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure end-to-end functionality. Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JUnit, TestNG). Conduct performance, security, and compatibility testing to ensure compliance with technical and business standards. Monitor test coverage and metrics to evaluate testing effectiveness and recommend process improvements. Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives) and support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing. Stay current with emerging QA trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance testing strategies and methodologies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum of ${experience} years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a strong focus on quality assurance and test lifecycle management. Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman, JUnit, TestNG). Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum development processes. Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr. Knowledge of API testing, RESTful services, and web service validation. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into deployment workflows. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. Experience with performance testing (e.g., JMeter) and security testing is a plus.
